We’re Here to Help

Mark Petersen | President & CEO

I’m learning how to live generously in ways that empower, not create, dependency. I invested a decade working for charities in Latin America and Asia before leading a prominent private Canadian foundation in 2000. For the next 15 years, I pioneered ways to make family philanthropy more meaningful and impactful. I created Stronger Philanthropy in 2015 to share my experience with additional grantmakers who love giving well. Currently I’m also researching transitions in family philanthropy for doctoral studies at George Fox University.

Linda Dzelme | Administrator

There’s nothing that makes me happier than seeing the good that can come from strategic philanthropy. Mark and I started working together in 2003 with a private foundation, and our synergies make us a great team. In my role I’ve had a front row seat on seeing how a strong philanthropic strategy makes giving so much more meaningful. I’m pleased to join him in serving our philanthropy clients and charity partners at Stronger Philanthropy.
