OneBook has forged ahead with innovative, efficient approaches to literacy and Bible translation, yet was burdened by legacy projects that didn’t fit its new framework. Our partnership helps them move ahead to reposition the organization and honourably finish projects from the former paradigm.

Measurable Outcomes:
OneBook’s Picking Up The Pace campaign will be a $3.5 million three-year initiative. KMA Associates will leverage their expertise to help OneBook reach their campaign goals:
- Finish 18 legacy Bible translation projects. These projects are awaiting quality-control checks from linguists with expertise in translation and will be completed in an average of 10.7 years.
- Start 26 new projects using new, more effective methodology. Each new project will be completed in less than five years, with greater community engagement and enhanced impact.
- Build organizational capacity of OneBook and OneBook partners. Five selected partners will be equipped with specialized translation skills, particularly in the area of last-stage quality-checks and fundraising skills. We will transition from 80% ex-pat checkers to 20%. OneBook organizational capacity for growth will be measured by amounts raised, increased major donors, and enhanced donor retention.
