Launching the Studio for building charity capacity

The Canadian Centre for Christian Charities (CCCC) recently introduced The Studio, a guided experience designed to help ministry leaders reflect on and strengthen their organizational foundations so they can better support their mission and impact. Participants in The Studio go through an insightful assessment process, interpret their results with CCCC’s guidance, and build practical action plans to grow organizational effectiveness.

A key supporter in making The Studio possible has been Bridgeway Foundation. As a funding partner, Bridgeway Foundation provided the CCCC with $228,000 in a 2-year grant (2024-2025) that helped bring this innovative tool to life, enabling CCCC to extend deeper capacity-building resources to Christian charities across Canada.

Bridgeway’s backing doesn’t just stop at launching The Studio — it also encourages any organizations invited to apply for grants to include costs for The Studio in their project budgets. Invited charities who apply for Bridgeway funding can now add The Studio costs to grant budgets so organizational health is strengthened alongside program delivery. In this way, strategic philanthropy and organizational development tools can work together to help charities build stronger, more sustainable futures.
