Stronger Philanthropy is pleased to welcome The Burro Initiative as a new client. By using Stronger Philanthropy’s Steward-tier services, The Burro Initiative will shape its grantmaking around its own priorities, yet benefiting from support for managing grants and tracking impact.

Its 2026 funding priorities include environmental protection and restoration, community building across difference, entrepreneurial enablement, restorative justice, and compassion for disadvantaged people. The Initiative plans to make several grants of approximately $25,000 each year, supporting registered Canadian charities in Atlantic Canada, across Canada, and internationally.

Beginning November 1, 2026, Stronger Philanthropy will invite selected charities to apply. Charities can register or update their Charity Profile to be considered.
