Mission
Kehila Foundation invests its charitable funds into grants with Canadian charities to benefit the lives of children and youth in Alberta and beyond.

Size of Grants
- A variety of grant requests will be considered between $5,000-$25,000.
Eligibility
- Charities become eligible for consideration after completing a Charity Survey.
- Beneficiaries must be registered Canadian charities.
- Past grant recipients are eligible for new funding when the outcomes of their previous project have been completed.
Reporting
- All charities receiving grants from Kehila Foundation will be encouraged to report back on progress made every six months until completion for the outcomes they propose.
Granting Process
- Complete the Charity Survey well in advance of the timetable listed below.
- Stronger Philanthropy will invite shortlisted charities to be interviewed.
- Upon approval by client, shortlisted charities will receive an emailed invitation to apply for a grant.
- Unsolicited applications are not accepted.
Timetable
- Stronger Philanthropy will email invitations to charities to apply on or after September 14, 2026.
- Applications will be considered by members of Kehila Foundation on or after October 12, 2026, with grants awarded soon after.
Next Steps
- Make your organization eligible by responding to the Charity Survey.
- You only need to respond to the Charity Survey once. Once we have it, your organization is available to be considered by all clients.
- We will contact you if we need you to update your survey or if you’ve been selected to complete a grant application.
