Mission
Kehila Foundation invests its charitable funds into grants with Canadian charities to benefit the lives of children and youth in Alberta and beyond.

Size of Grants
- A variety of grant requests will be considered between $5,000-$25,000.
Eligibility
- Beneficiaries must be registered Canadian charities.
- Past grant recipients are eligible for new funding when the outcomes of their previous project have been completed.
Reporting
- All charities receiving grants from Kehila Foundation will be encouraged to report back on progress made every six months until completion for the outcomes they propose.
Granting Process
- If your charity believes it has an opportunity that would interest Kehila Foundation, complete the Charity Survey well in advance of the granting dates listed in the timetable below.
- Stronger Philanthropy will conduct a face-to-face interview for organizations that are most closely aligned to Kehila Foundation’s priorities.
- Shortlisted organizations will receive an emailed invitation to apply for a grant.
- Instructions for completing the application will be contained in the emailed invitation.
- Unsolicited applications are not accepted.
Timetable
- Charity Surveys must be received by August 26, 2025.
- Based on surveys received, Stronger Philanthropy will email invitations to charities to apply on or after September 9, 2025.
- Applications will be considered by members of Kehila Foundation by October 30, 2025, with grants awarded soon after.

- You only need to submit one Charity Survey per year to Stronger Philanthropy. We will keep it on file for all our clients through the remainder of the calendar year.
