Stronger Philanthropy is pleased to meet with any Canadian charity leaders who want to profile their work to our clients.
It is important to review our clients’ priorities and understand their giving capacity to ensure there is alignment with one of our client’s interests. Do your research to determine the potential scope and scale of their support, and to know their general geographic focus, before booking an appointment. Smaller or local charities outside the communities in which our clients live are generally not of interest.
In our one-hour Charity Meeting, we want to learn about your organization’s mission, programs, and funding priorities. We will also review our grantmaking process, discuss our clients’ priorities, and give you an orientation to the tools we use.
When you book a Charity Meeting, we create your Charity Profile which we make available to all our clients. Your Charity Profile simply and concisely presents the nature of your organization and other key data in a consistent way. We embed links which allow our clients to view your charity’s video and connect through to financial data, annual reports, and more. Profiles are uploaded to our database, are available to all members of the Stronger Philanthropy Community, and we will show it to you when we meet.
As well, if there is a fit between your organization and our clients’ priorities, you’ll be invited to create Project Profiles for opportunities you’re seeking funding for. Clients review Project Profiles to determine which ones will be invited to complete a grant application.
We cover the costs of this work by assessing a nominal charge of $99 + HST.
