Executive Summary:

Ontario Christian Gleaners has initiated a project anticipating a 3 day face-to-face Symposium with 7 other food drying Christian relief and development organizations across Canada. The Dried With Love Network has come out of the Ontario Christian Gleaners strategic plan.  This network currently consists of 8 different charitable organizations across the country that independently and cooperatively dry (surplus) food for aid.  Ontario Christian Gleaners, through their last 2 strategic plans, has kept a desire to see an increased working together. It has taken some time to develop and is now showing rich dividends. They currently meet by video every second month, sharing best practices, troubleshooting together, communicating about overlap with recipient organizations and countries, discussing available resources and creative practices.  They share a common website which is still in the earlier stages of development.

OCG seeks to deepen the working relationship through a face-to-face gathering with different portfolios of representatives from all 8 groups.  They exhibit a joint desire and commitment to work together for the Lord in order to bring good to the world and reflect Christ’s love to those who live in poverty.

Measurable Outcomes:

1) A 3 day (possibly progressive) Symposium held for 3 days by May 2018.

2) 24 leaders from 8 organizations will be identified and prepared to contribute towards Symposium topics.

3) Dried With Love Values statement created.

4) Covenant together.
